Vasilij A. Dimov

Born 1957 in Izmail (Ukraine).

Study of journalism and literary criticism at the Lomonossov University of Moscow.

Numerous publications, including the collection of short novels “Profil im geklebten Spiegel” (Moscow, 1991) and the novel “Allusionen des heiligen Possekel”, nominated for the Russian Booker Prize in 1996.

Publications in Lettre International.

Recipient of grants from the Künstlerhaus Schloß Wiepersdorf and the literaturWERKstatt Berlin.

Also active as a literary translator.
