1986-89 lived as a writer in exile in the U.S., England and Germany.
1994 completion of doctorate in Trier.
1994-97 lecturer at the University of Tübingen. Co-editor of the exile literature magazine Jintian (Today).
Publication of numerous poems in poetry collections and anthologies, including: “Die Glasfabrik” (Tübingen, 1993), “Kafka an Felice” (Lettre, 1994) and “Briefe aus der Zeit” (Sirene, 1997).
Recipient of various prizes in China and of a German Academic Exchange Service grant.
