Born 1987 in Kawthaung Township, Thanintharyi Division/Myanmar.

Zoncy has been engaged in art activism and peace building for six years. As one of the socially and politically most active artists in Yangon/Myanmar, she explores how art can be an effective and strategic tool for communities in trauma.

In her work, she addresses various aspects of Myanmar’s diverse cultural and political identities, mainly through photography and performance. Zoncy teaches creative advocacy and community theater, and is program director at Diverze Youth Art Platform, an organization she co-founded with seven other artists, that cultivates a culture of peace through preserving minority arts and culture. In 2017, she joined the Culture Summit in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

She has performed and exhibited locally and internationally, in Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Germany, Malaysia, Austria, France, Bangladesh, USA, and Singapore.
