We asked the artists participating in the exhibition »Beyond Walls – Über Grenzen hinaus« to make individual (written) contributions to this publication. Some of the artists invited close friends or acquaintances to write about their work. Others added their own texts to their work or responded to our request with images. The fact that many of the authors are also Akademie Schloss Solitude fellows cements the Akademie’s reputation as the site of a lively exchange which generates artistic collaborations – and friendships.
