Corinne May Botz arbeitet als außerordentliche Professorin für Fotografie am Maryland Institut, Hochschule der Künste, Baltimore und an der Johns Hopkins Universität sowie als Dozentin für Fotografie an der Cooper Union, New York City.

Sie ist Autorin des Buches »The Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death«, Monacelli Press, New York City (2004), das eine Sammlung von akribisch angefertigten Tatort-Modellen eines unbesungenen Vorkämpfers der Kriminalwissenschaften, Frances Glessner Lee, untersucht.
