The fellowship for young Hungarian authors established by Prof. Péter Horváth has been awarded annually since 2013. Since 2018, the Liszt Institute – Hungarian Cultural Center has been announcing the award winner in the context of a literary evening. In addition, the award-winning authors are invited to spend a month at Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart.

This year’s young fellowship winner is Imre Bartók with his work Majmom, Vergílius (My Monkey, Vergil).

It is presented with the active involvement of the Stuttgart Literary Salon, an initiative for contemporary Hungarian literature.
