Collaborative Contaminations functions as an installation and performance simultaneously. Icelandic artist Rósa Ómarsdóttir explores the energetic effects of water meeting a wide variety of materials and therefore becoming contaminated.

Eerie magical landscapes, images of cell-like microcosms and huge galaxies emerge and, together with live sounds, form their own choreography of water and ice. Collaborative Contaminations was created during a residency fellowship at Akademie Schloss Solitude in collaboration with Produktionszentrum Tanz and Performance within the context of TANZPAKT Stuttgart.

Concept, choreography and performance: Rósa Ómarsdóttir
Installation and projection: Hákon Pálsson
Co-production and support: Reykjavík Dance Festival
