Exhibition Heimspiel Auswärts

In fall 2006, the Akademie held a design competition among the students of Professor Uli Cluss to redesign of its calendar of events. The communications design department at the State Academy of Art and Design works in all areas of visual communications and in the past few years conceived and realized a few “real” projects in addition to its artistic work. These include the visual identity of the major state exhibition “Art Lives” in the Württembergischen Kunstverein Stuttgart, the Domnick Collection in Nürtingen or the last 12 covers of Sonnendeck magazine from Stuttgart. All designs for the Akademie’s calendar of events, as well as for Sonnendeck, are presented to the public in the Römerstrasse project space,

Uli Cluss was an Akademie Schloss Solitude fellow in 1990/1991. Since the beginning of his activities in publishing, he has designed the literature series Reihe Literatur at the Akademie.
