During the closing event on December 8, 2016, Prof. Peter Ott, Prof. Mario Doulis of Merz Akademie and Prof. Jean-Baptiste Joly, director of Akademie Schloss Solitude will present the results, projects and exhibition documentations of remediate II.
In 2009, Merz Akademie, Akademie Schloss Solitude, MFG and LFK got together for the joint project remediate! to investigate the transition between film and new media.
Within the frame of remediate II Merz Akademie and Akademie Schloss Solitude have realized different artistic research projects in the past three years to work on the remediation of film, network, map and archive. All projects have been carried out by students and professors of Merz Akademie and fellows of Akademie Schloss Solitude.
