Für das Cover von Solitude Journal 4, Time After Time, hat das Grafikstudio Beton.Studio eine Zeichnung aus der Serie Studies in Aqueous Time der ehemaligen Stipendiatin Zahra Malkani bearbeitet. Wir bedanken uns bei der Künstlerin für die Möglichkeit, eine ihrer Zeichnungen als Titelsujet zu verwenden. Reproduktionen der Originalzeichnungen sind im Journal zu finden.
On this evening we will present the latest issue of Solitude Journal together with present authors in Berlin at Hopscotch Reading Room.
Solitude Journal and special editions communicate the topics emerging from Akademie Schloss Solitude’s network. The fourth iteration, Time After Time is based on the perceptions of time inscribed in and reproduced through colonial systems, as a decolonial approach to the length and/or parameters of time. Writer and editor Dzekashu MacViban was invited to develop a theme for this edition with co-editors Jazmina Figueroa and Denise Helene Sumi.
