Amanda Michalopoulou

Born 1966 in Athens.

Studied French literature at the University of Athens.

Art historian for Arti International and columnist for Kathimerini, the Greek national paper.

Readings and lectures, among others, at the Maison des Ecrivains, Paris and at Harvard University.

Selected publications: the short stories „Life is Colorful Outside” (1994), the novels „Yantes” (1996) and „As often as you can bear it” (in preparation with Rotbuch Publishers,1998).

Numerous grants and prizes including Künstlerhaus Wiepersdorf and Edward Albee Foundation, New York (1999).
