Anne Kawala

Born 1980 in Herlincourt/France.

Anne Kawala studied fine arts and is currently working as a writer, art critic, co-creator and co-director for the online magazine Ro ToR´s. Selected projects include: Le cow-boy et le poète (Chevauchépris), book with CD, published by L’attente (2011); Ma belle entomologie, with Olivia Grandville (choreography), National Center of Dance, Pantin/France (commissioned by the Concordan(s)es festival) (2011); part&, Editions Joca Seria, directed by Chloé Delaume (2011); La terreur du boomerang, drama, commissioned by La comédie de Reims and staged by Emilie Rousset (2010); F.aire L.aF.eui||e, Edition Le clou dans le Fer (2008). Furthermore, she received, among others, a fellowship from the National Center of Spatial Studies as well as a fellowship from the Conseil régional d’Île de France.
