Studied music at the Victorian College of the Arts und at the University of Melbourne, as well as at the Syndey Conservatory of Music.

Co-artistic director of the Libra Ensemble (Australia). Member and conductor of the Elision Ensemble (Australia) and CD recordings with this ensemble for ABC Classics.

Played with numerous ensembles, including: Ensemble Modern (Germany), Melbourne Symphony, Perihelion and Chamber Made Opera (Australia).

Recent performances: Huddersfield Festival (1996), ICSM World Music Days (1997), Brussels Ars Musica (1998), Adelaide Festival 2000.

Selected fellowships: Akiyoshidai Festival (1995, Japan) und University of Queensland (1996).

Various prizes: Kranichsteiner Musikpreis (1994, Darmstadt) and Sydney University Postgraduate Award (1998-2000).
