Julia von Leliwa

Born 1982 in Hamburg.

Julia von Leliwa works as freelance fashion and costume designer. Her artistic projects have been supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and a fellowship of the Bremer Studien-Fonds e.V. Julia von Leliwa was a fellow of the International Summer Arts Program at the Watermill Center in Long Island, NY/USA, directed by Robert Wilson, and a guest artist of Raketenstation der Stiftung Insel Hombroich/Germany. In recent years she worked with a number of designers, theater directors and artists, eg. Viktor & Rolf in Amsterdam/Netherlands, Balenciaga in Paris/France. Together with Robert Wilson, she worked on productions as The Life and Death of Marina Abramovic and Grace for Grace.
