Born 1971 in Dijon/France. Studied theater and Romance languages and literature in Dijon, Lyon and Paris (until 1996). In 2002 she completed her studies of theater directing at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst “Ernst Busch” in Berlin. During her studies she worked as a directors assistant in various French and German theaters. Collaborations with Bruno Meyssat, Thomas Ostermeier and Manfred Karge. Productions included „Don Juan kommt aus dem Krieg“ (1998) and „Lord Robert“ (1999) as collective works at the studio theater bat Berlin. She completed her diploma with the German premiere „Die Auferweckung des Lazurus“ by Gérard Francois at the bat Berlin. Most recently she produced the traveling youth play „Klamms Krieg“ by Kai Hensel at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen.

During her fellowship at Akademie Schloss Solitude, Leyla-Claire Rabih will work on a collaborative theater project with Margareth Obexer.
