Mariano Etkin

Born 1943 in Buenos Aires. He studied music in Buenos Aires, with Guillermo GrŠtzer, Iannis Xenakis and Earle Brown, later in New York with Luciano Berio. Composer and professor for composition and musical analysis at the National University of La Plata.

Among his many teaching positions around the world, he was a lecturer at the Summer Courses for New Music, Darmstadt, Germany.

He participated in numerous music festivals. His works have been played at the ISCM World Music Days in 1984, 1989, 1990 and 1995.
