Born 1977 in Cape Town/South Africa.

Ndikhumbule Ngqinambi studied animation and directing at the South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance (AFDA). He participated in numerous exhibitions such as: In living colour, Barnard Gallery, Cape Town (2012); 20th Anniversary of Thami-Mnyele Foundation, Amsterdam/Netherlands (2011); The Window Part One, Association for Visual Arts, Cape Town (2010); Smells and Shadows, Association for Visual Arts, Cape Town (2009).

Ndikhumbule Ngqinambi received several fellowships, including Thami-Mnyele foundation, Amsterdam (2011); Unesco, Archburg fellowship, SACATAR, Itaparica/Brazil (2010); Tulipamwe Residency, Windhoek/Namibia (2010); Bagfactory, Johannesburg/South Africa (2008); Legacy, University of Cumbria, Carlisle/UK (2007).

Currently, he is working as a freelance artist in the fields of painting and video art.
