Nesindano »Khoes« Namises is a poet. She combines her poetry with afro-folk-funk, neosoul, voice and acoustic guitar in a collaboration with C. Polloni. Since 2010, she has co-organized Spoken Word Namibia, a growing platform for performance poetry in Namibia. She has a background in radio and marketing, and has worked on air and as a producer at Planet Radio (2011), 99FM (2012/2013) and as a copywriter with Trustco Group (2014–2016).

As a poet and performer, she has been involved in youth project work, including Arbeat by the National Theatre Namibia and Camp Clog, a social and gender awareness camp (2016–2019). She currently performs and works as a voice artist and scriptwriter while researching oral history and experimental sounds.

She has contributed to, performed and (co)written different projects: House of Falling Bones (HoFB), music theatre co-production tour (2018/2019, Germany, Switzerland), theKhoest tour, Fusion Festival, Skandaløs/Germany (2019), Odalate Naiteke Namibia (2020), The Mourning (Citizen), Namibia/Cameroon (2018/2019), Masa festival, Blend tour, Republic of Côte d’Ivoire (2018), Free Rangers, a comic co-created with N. Wilkinson, Namibia, (2017/2018), and She Poems, Namibia.

Based in Namibia, she is a mother and is fascinated by clouds and elephants.
