Santiago Mostyn creates films, installations and performances that test the divide between disparate cultural spheres, employing an intuitive process to engage with a knowledge and history grounded equally in the body and the rational mind. He is based in Sweden but maintains strong ties to Zimbabwe, Trinidad and Tobago, the countries of his upbringing.

Mostyn’s works were featured in the exhibitions Not a Single Story, at Wanås Konst, Skåne/Sweden (2019), Survival Kit 10.1, at the Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art (LCCA), Riga/Latvia (2019), and The Measure of All Things: On the (In)Human at Lunds Konsthall, Lund/Sweden (2019). His work was also exhibited at venues including the Gothenburg Biennial, Gothenburg/Sweden (2017), Kunsthall Stavanger/Norway (2014), and Malmö Konsthall, Malmö/Sweden (2013). Mostyn co-curated the Moderna Exhibition 2018: With the Future Behind Us, at Moderna Museet, Stockholm/Sweden.
