Sophia Guggenberger

Born 1987 in Vienna/Austria.

After two years of studies in fashion and clothing engineering in Vienna, Sophia Guggenberger finished her Bachelor in shoe design at the London College of Fashion in 2012. Following her graduation, she started working for the shoe company Camper as a designer and developed among other things a collaboration with the project Don’t Run-Beta.

Since 2015, she developed the project AnOtherShoe together with Eugenia Morpurgo. A new model of shoe production, based on the free distribution of knowledge, local production at a small scale and digital fabrication on demand. An important part of her project is organizing workshops (e.g. in Belgium, Korea, Italy) and collaborations with local communities (e.g. Timelab Gent, WeMake Milan).

In October 2016, she finished her Masters in Design at the University of Arts in Berlin with her project Konglomerate.
