Born 1980 in London/UK.
Thomas Thwaites studied at the University College London, London/UK (2002–2005) and graduated in human sciences. In 2009, he finished his master studies in design interactions at the Royal College of Art in London.
Selected exhibitions include: Unlikely Objects, London (2011); Policing Genes, London and Amsterdam (2010); The Toaster Project, exhibited in the Science Museum, London (2009).
Furthermore, he received numerous prizes, among others the Arts Award – Wellcome Trust (2010), Honorary Mention from Prix Ars Electronica (2010), and Blueprint – Best Emerging Talent (2009). Currently, Thomas Thwaites is working as freelance designer.
