Tilman Rammstedt

Born 1975 in Bielefeld (Germany).

Studied philosophy and comparative literature in Edinburgh, Tübingen and Berlin. Text writer for the group “Fön – texts on music” and permanent member of the literary stage group “Visch & Ferse” in Berlin.

Numerous essays and short stories include: “Eine Froschkönigin” (together with Silke Schmidt, 1999), “L., die Jahreszeit und ich auch” (in: BELLAtriste – Zeitschrift für junge Literatur, 1/2001), “Ausflug mit L.” (in: Berlin pages of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, 280/2001), “Aufwachsen in einem freudianischen Haushalt” (in: EDIT – Papier für neue Texte, 27/2001).

2003 publication of his first novel “Erledigungen vor der Feier” (DuMont, 2003).

Laureate of the Open Mike Festival, Literaturwerkstatt Berlin (2001).
