He belongs to a minority hill tribe of Myanmar, born in a small village called Nam Um, Muze township in Shan State on the border of Myanmar and China. With his graphic art, he strongly promotes minority ethnic identities and proposes diversity and harmony along with equality and freedom.

ZZDD works as freelance and voluntarily on projects concerning different aspects of social justice. He holds a diploma in multimedia, and graduated from the SAE Institute (Australia) in 2005. In 2007, he received a Bachelor in history from the University of East Yangon/Myanmar.

He was assigned by a local NGO, Pan Kachin Development Society (PKDS) in Mai Ja Yang, Kachin State of Myanmar, to work on publication and communication designs for environmental issues. In 2010, he moved to Yangon which remains the only art hub in Myanmar, to establish his career as musician and graphic designer.
