Daniel Salomon (*1976 in Copenhagen) works as a freelance artist. He studied at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Bourges, at the Danish Art Academy and at the State Academy for Visual Arts in Copenhagen as well as at the Städelschule in Frankfurt/Main. From 2003 to 2007 he worked with Olof Olsson under the name “La Loko” based on the international language Esperanto. Salomon was an Akademie fellow in 2007/2008.

Helene Sommer (*1978 in Oslo) completed her studies at the Akademie of the Fine Art in Oslo in 2003. Among her artistic media are video works, installations as well as text and photo works. Sommer lives and works in Oslo und Berlin und is a 2007/2009 fellow at the Akademie.

Dubravka Sekulic (*1980 in Nis, Serbia) studied architecture in Belgrade, where she has assisted (under Ivan Kucina) on various projects, like the production of a catalog on Belgrade’s underground architecture, since 2003. She is presently working on a project to redesign department stores in the former Yugoslavia. Sekulic was an Akademie fellow in 2008.

Eunjung Hwang (*1971 in Seoul, South Korea) lives and works in New York. She studied painting at the Ewha Women’s University in South Korea and computer arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York. She was a fellow at the Nordic Artist’s Centre, Dale/Norway (2006) and at the Künstlerhaus Büchsenhausen, Innsbruck (2005). Hwang is a 2008/2009 fellow at the Akademie.
