Luke Wilkins works as a writer and musician and develops transdisciplinary performances. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Swiss Literature Institute at Bern University of Arts, Switzerland and a master’s degree in free improvisation by Fred Frith and Alfred Zimmerlin from the School of Music Basel, Switzerland. He teaches free improvisation and performance at the Bern University of Arts and the Schule für Gestaltung Bern und Biel, Switzerland.

His novel Lieber Schweizer, weißt du dass ich auch einer bin? is funded by the Canton of Bern, the Federal Office of Culture, Pro Helvetia and the Förderkreis deutscher Schriftsteller in Baden-Württemberg. On behalf of Pascale Van Coppenolle, he currently writes a libretto for Paradieswind-Ohratorium. In addition, he rehearses the performance Ereignisse in unserem Fleisch together with the dancer Annika Pawlitz.
