Studied composition and conducting at the Academy of Arts (HdK) in Berlin with professor Friedrich Goldmann and professor Gösta Neuwirth.

Since 1998 working as a composer and conducter.

Composition commission for Ensemble Modern, Klangforum Vienna, DSO Berlin, WDR, DeutschlandRadio, Academy of Arts (Akademie der Künste) Berlin-Brandenburg.

Performances at festivals in Berlin, Cologne, Witten, Saarbrücken, Munich, Basle, Vienna, Paris, Barcelona, Leuven, Lviv (Ukraine), St. Petersburg.

Since 1998 musical director of ensemble mosaik, concerts in Germany and abroad.

Fellowship of the Wilfried-Steinbrenner foundation. City of Stuttgart composition prize for “Knochen”.
