Four artistic fellows plus four Akademie employees = eight spaces and eight ways of working. The Akademie Schloss Solitude is a place to exchange artistic practices and to network. But at the same time it is an artistic institution, as well as a romantic retreat to a place far removed from the artistic production’s commodity trade. »Arbeit und Freizeit« documents a 60-minute real-time excerpt of the Akademie between work and leisure, between art, service and representation. What and who produces this arrangement and what and whom is produced by it? Networked geniuses or solitary network artists, workhorses or people of leisure? A musique concrète.

The project is a cooperation of the Akademie Schloss Solitude with the labor für musik:theater Berlin.

Admission 14 euros; 9 euros reduced.
Tickets available via the Theaterhaus Stuttgart. Tel.: 0711. 40 20 720, or via e-mail tickets@theaterhaus.com, www.theaterhaus.com.
