The Akademie Schloss Solitude cordially invites you to the annual Summer Feast. With pleasure we would like to spend a lovely summer evening with you around the Japanese temple underneath the linden tree of the Akademie.
Current fellows from Egypt, Australia, Brasil, Germany, India, Croatia, Austria, Hungary, Turkey and the USA contribute to the program with exhibitions, installations, performances and readings. Many of them open their studios to give you an insight into their artistic work.
The motto of the evening »Love Is Reality« is characterized by the voguing-performance »Pose for Me« by Shaka McGlotten and Georgina Leo Melody. At a late hour the two of them and other international guests are going to perform this urban dance form in front of the castle. Also don´t miss the voguing-workshops on June 24 at Tanz- and Theaterwerkstatt Ludwigsburg e.V. and on June 25 at the Akademie.
At 6.30 pm Petra Olschowski, state secretary of the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Wuerttemberg, and the new director of the Akademie, Elke aus dem Moore, are going to give you a warm welcome.
Mobile local caterers will provide you with food and drinks. Later in the evening there will be several DJ sets and the bar will be open until 2 am.
