Centre for Contemporary Art, Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw, Poland
Since October 2002, the Akademie Schloss Solitude and the Centre for Contemporary Art, Ujazdowski Castle have implemented the common artists residency program a-i-r laboratory, coordinated by Agnieszka Sienkiewicz-Nowacka. Two young visual artists are invited for three-month residencies at Ujazdowski Castle or Akademie Schloss Solitude to prepare projects to be presented to the public at the end of their stay.
The program is supported by the Ministry of Science, Research and Art of the State of Baden-Württemberg, the German-Polish Foundation, and the Robert Bosch Foundation (until December 2006). Partners of the a-i-r laboratory in Warsaw are: AIR Antwerpen, le bains:connective, German Embassy in Warsaw and Fundacja Wspolpracy Polsko-Niemieckiej.
