Catherine Lamb (fellow 2016/2017) receives composers’ prize of the Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung 2020
The Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung awarded three young composers with the composers’ prize 2020. The Akademie Schloss Solitude is happy with composer Catherine Lamb who is one of the three awardees. in 2016/2017 she was a music/sound fellow of Akademie Schloss Solitude. The award amounts to 35.000 Euro. All of the awarded artits receive an individual and high-class portrait CD.
Furthermore, the Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung granted several composer commissions. Ten former fellows and jurors from the Solitude network qualified themselves for a commission.
Among them are: Annesley Black (fellow of the summer academy 2007), Eliav Brand (fellow music/sound 2001), Sivan Cohen Elias (fellow music/sound 2012/2013), Francesco Filidei (fellow music/sound 2005/2006), Malika Kishino (fellow music/sound 2008), Anna Korsun (fellow music/sound 2014/2015), Philipp Maintz (fellow music/sound 2009/2010), Isabel Mundry (juror music/sound 2007–2009), Helmut Oehring (fellow music/sound 1990), and Stephan Winkler (fellow music/sound 1990/1991).
