Akademie Schloss Solitude is an international and transdisciplinary artist residency. We provide time and space for research, exchange, and the development and realization of ideas, both physically and digitally. We understand art and research as distinct ways of generating knowledge and insight that open up new perspectives on society and its complexities.
Transdisciplinarity and the creation of connections are central to our work. We bring different experiences and forms of knowledge into dialogue, enabling artists, researchers, and cultural practitioners to develop their work independently and in exchange with others. As a learning institution, we continuously question and refine our perspectives and ways of working.
